NuVel Esthetiques, a day spa for facials and body sculpting treatments, on Sunday announced the opening of its expanded location at 1356 East 84th Street in Canarsie, Brooklyn. The spa now features two additional treatment rooms, additional bathrooms, an updated reception area as well as an expanded menu of service offerings including facial and bodywork services, including microdermabrasion, cavitation (a non-invasive procedure that uses sound and radio waves to empty fat cells), sauna, and cellulite treatments. Khareen Tomlin, a wellness professional committed to helping and healing people through the power of touch, initially started the business in September 2020.

Originally, I started this business as a passion project, but it has now grown into a flourishing enterprise serving Canarsie and beyond. The Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce has partnered with NuVel to celebrate the business' reopening after its expansion. Senator Roxanne Persaud, who represents Kings County (Brooklyn) for the New York State Senate, attended on behalf of The Chamber to co-host the official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held on Sunday, September 25th at 3:00 p.m. EDT at 1356 East 84th Street in Canarsie, Brooklyn.
