Artistic Collective s[lab] x ip Launches Immersive Art Installation 'The Inflatable Skyline' at III Points

s[lab] x ip, a Miami collective composed of artists Gregory Santos, Ilsse Peredo, Juan Mora, and Krischan Singh, today announced that they are debuting their latest project, The Inflatable Skyline, at III Points. The music, art, and technology festival, which takes place on October 21st and 22nd in Miami, will keep the installation on display at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center through October 27th. The artists describe their installation as "an introspective look at our society's collective delusion of grandeur during Miami's recent economic boom."

The Inflatable Skyline was inspired by Luis Pons' Floating Inflatable Villa, which debuted at Art Basel Miami Beach in 2005 and was created as a reaction to Miami's real estate bubble. With market volatility and inflation at an all-time high, The Inflatable Skyline offers a dramatic reflection of Miami's current state of being'Of over 150 applicants, s[lab] x ip were one of just three artistic projects chosen to create a visual arts display at III Points. The festival, which has developed a reputation as a celebration of contemporary culture and a home for emerging artists, will feature performances from a wide variety of notable musical acts including LCD Soundsystem, Rosalía, James Blake, and Flume.
