Stephen Shatzer launches a beat shop and producers’ forum at shrapnelbeats.com and a blog and review site at shrapnelmusic.com. Shatzer is a songwriter, drummer, keyboardist and studio engineer with over 20 years of experience.
The beat shop allows for music producers to license, sell, and give away free beats. Most instrumental beats on the site are hip-hop, trap, R&B, and electronic.
The Beat Maker Forum enables producers to discuss, collaborate, or promote their latest releases to filmmakers, vocalists, rappers, lyricists, and anyone else needing an instrumental. The goal is to create a beat-making community.
Shrapnel Music Blog launches as a way for individuals or bands to promote the release of new music. Even though most blog submissions are about rock, metal, and hip-hop, Shrapnel also takes other genres. Artists could blog for free about their music, or they could pay for a full music review. Shrapnel will post the submissions to its social media channels and add them to its Spotify playlists.
“I started a music blog several years ago and always enjoyed helping out and interacting with artists. I’m excited about this new blog because I get to hear a ton of material I've never heard before,” says Shatzer.
