Southwest Network Promotes Dr. Nahid Nadiri to Medical Director

Southwest Network is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Nahid Nadiri to Medical Director. In this capacity, Nadiri will provide oversight to the organization’s medical providers and ensure the highest quality psychiatric treatment for its approximately 10,000 adult and child/family members. The role is also directly responsible for identifying clinical quality improvement activities and reducing any potential barriers to equitable care.

Over her tenure at Southwest Network, Nadiri has held key roles of Psychiatrist and later Chief Psychiatrist for the organization’s Saguaro location. In addition to her reputation for delivering highly individualized treatment that accelerates members’ recovery, she is known for her wisdom in guiding medical and clinical teams through complex cases and scenarios.

Nadiri started in her new role August 1.  An accomplished psychiatric physician, Nadiri has helped found and/or organize multiple health services clinics; presented on neurocognitive disorder, mood disorder, and substance use disorders; and won the American Psychiatric Association Resident Recognition Award.

Nadiri is board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is also a member of American Association for Physician Leaders and is working toward becoming a Certified Physician Executive (CPE).
