Sacred Noise Society, Inc., the non-profit organization behind Katie O'Regan's debut feature film Painting Jane, today announced the world premiere of the film at 7:15 p.m. on November 30th at the Royal Theater in Santa Monica, California. The red carpet will be held at 6:30 p.m., while a talkback with the director and stars of the film will take place directly after the screening.

Painting Jane, based on Phyllis Yes's play Good Morning Miss America, is described as "a story of love and acceptance. With dignity, love, grace, and a touch of humor, this film gives a voice to families struggling with the reality of aging parents with dementia and the inevitable reality of end-of-life issues."

O’Regan directed the play and played Jane in an Off-Broadway production in October of 2019. O’Regan then adapted the story to a screenplay and added her original soundtrack lyrics and vocals.

Premiere tickets are available now for $20 at https://www.laemmle.com/film/painting-jane and are on sale for $25 day-of at the theater. To watch the trailer, visit https://vimeo.com/748386007.
