Michele Benjamin, an artist specializing in the creation of jewelry, sculpture, digital photography prints, and wearable art, today announced that her work is being featured at "Time & Space" Art Exhibition Opening on September 3–28, 2024, in Gallery 2 along with featured artists Eugene Albulescu, Judith Luongo, Elizabeth Stern, and Ruth Antrich.
The opening reception will be held on Thursday, September 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pictor Gallery, located at 547 West 27 Street, Suite 204—in the heart of the Chelsea Gallery District, one of the most important and influential art districts in the world.
Michele Benjamin's artwork, "Splendid Tiger," a bronze sculpture measuring 9 inches in length, 5 3/8 inches in height, 2 7/8 inches in depth and priced at $3,500, will be on exhibit through February 27, alongside distinguished artists. The Splendid Tiger is a 3D solid bronze sculpture with a rich gold patina finish. The features are rendered in the style of Bengal endangered species with black stripes, in a roaring fierce stance. Cast at foundry. Hot poured bronze. Lost wax method from mold, and fired gold patina. Additional works will be on exhibit that are created to bring awareness to the delicate nature of endangered wildlife and the beauty and fragility of nature's fiercest creatures.
