Graceland Gives (the charitable arm of Graceland Portable Buildings), Kentucky Dream Center, Relevant Church in Paducah, First Baptist Church in Calvert City, and ShelterLogic Corp. will host two concerts to raise funds that will provide direct relief to victims of Kentucky tornadoes. The two concerts will take place at 6:00 pm on Friday, July 29th at First Baptist Church in Calvert City and 6:00 pm on Saturday, July 30th at Relevant Church in Paducah. Judah First Band, one of the most popular emerging Christian bands in the world today, will provide the entertainment. A suggested donation of $10 will be collected at the door, and 100% of the proceeds will go to providing direct relief to victims of Kentucky tornadoes.
Over the past two years, Kentucky has experienced an unprecedented number of the most destructive tornadoes in the state’s history, taking 74 lives, injuring 617 others, and causing billions of dollars of damage. The people of Kentucky have pulled together and offered heroic efforts to help individuals whose lives have been devastated by these tornadoes, but so much more remains to be done.
“Graceland Portable Buildings has called Kentucky home for 18 years and is committed to bringing healing and restoration to the people and communities devastated by the recent tornadoes that have swept across our state,” said Greg French, its CEO. “We are hoping these concerts will make significant contributions toward helping those in greatest need.”
“Judah First Band is humbled and honored to be able to play a small role in bringing the people of Kentucky together for two nights of unity, worship, and praise to raise funds to help our hurting neighbors and friends.” said lead singer Ryan Overbey.
