The Connecticut Scoreboard, a podcast devoted to Connecticut sports, is excited to announce that University of Connecticut athletes Jackson Mitchell, Cheyenne Sprecher, and Jayden Reid will host regular podcasts throughout the fall season. These episodes will provide fans with an inside look at the athletes’ respective programs. Thanks to sponsor OpenLocker, Inc. these athletes will be able to accept payment for their time on the podcast through name, image, and likeness policies.

About the Athletes
Jackson Mitchell, a junior linebacker on the football team, will provide insight into what will be an exciting first year under new head coach Jim Mora. Mitchell, a Connecticut native, started every game last year and led the team in tackles. He has also been named to the watch list for the Butkus Award, which is awarded to the top linebacker in college football.
Cheyenne Sprecher, a graduate student and goalkeeper for the field hockey team, will speak to one of UConn’s most successful programs. She has been in Storrs for six years and was on the 2017 National Championship team. Sprecher started every match in net last year and posted a career high in saves. She has also been named a Vice Captain for the 2022 team.
Jayden Reid, a junior and Captain of the soccer team, is one of the most exciting players on the field. He looks to build on the success he had in the 2021 season including receiving Big East Honor Roll twice in the Fall 2021 season.
