CineSense Media Relaunches as MovieSource

CineSense Media, a leading provider of independent film marketing and online streaming distribution services, today announced the relaunch of its flagship service under the new name MovieSource, a free online movie information database founded by industry veteran Robyn Church.

As the world's 3rd largest online movie information database, next to IMDB and TMDB, MovieSource aims to provide a strong backbone for promoting independent films and supporting content creators in their journey to bring their projects to the world. In addition to offering marketing and distribution services, MovieSource also provides digital cinema equipment rentals and four-wall distribution management.

"Today's technology provides independent filmmakers endless opportunities for showcasing and promoting their content," said Church, who has spent years building support systems for major media technology companies such as Technicolor and RealNetworks, and has worked closely with major studios including Disney, Warner Bros., and Paramount. "But navigating the constantly evolving distribution venues can be daunting for a filmmaker. Filmmakers often feel alone with no way to get their content out into the world. CineSense Media and MovieSource are dedicated to changing the game by partnering with content creators. Our goal is to ensure filmmakers that, despite being independent, they are not alone."

Interim CEO John Raymond will transition into the Managing Director position for the Independent Filmmaker department, overseeing digital cinema's four-walling services.

MovieSource's online database is currently in beta, with an estimated launch date of January 31, 2023. The service will be headquartered at 9350 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California.
