His career began in 2012 at the Israeli Diamond Exchange where he earned the prestigious GG (Graduate Gemologist) designation. Here he identified and graded natural, as well as lab-grown diamonds. Tomer continued appraising and grading hundreds of thousands of diamonds and colored gemstones at the International Gemological Institute, the largest independent gem lab in the world headquartered in Antwerp, Belgium, the heart of the diamond trade. In this highly secured laboratory, Tomer used high powered microscopes and other sensitive instruments to study and measure the inclusions, blemishes, polish, symmetry and color of the diamonds to provide retailers an unbiased evaluation of these stones.
In 2018, Tomer relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina as a Diamond Wholesaler, supplying diamonds to the region’s top jewelry stores, as well as to jewelers throughout the United States. “During this time, I was approached by many individuals who were subject to divorce, broken engagements, or had inherited diamonds through a family estate.
